Our platform blends earth observation technology and machine learning to create an image of Mongolia's rangelands. We use remote sensing data and machine learning to create an accessible and dynamic platform showing carrying capacity of rangelands, for herders, relevant supply chain companies and relevant policy makers. Our project integrates high-resolution satellite data, historical climate patterns, and dynamic herding behaviors to create improved mortality indices that better reflect actual risks.
